Blue porch ceilings
After having so many gray days with rain, we decided to brighten up our environment. God knows we need the rain, but enough already. We did some research and decided to paint our porch ceilings a pale blue. Looking for the perfect color of blue was a challenge.
We ended up selecting Valspar paint in an exterior latex formula, in a satin finish. The color we used, is none other than "clear sky blue". I have watched the shade change in different light, and it seems to be perfect.
We do not have wood ceilings, but enjoy low-maintenance vinyl. It will work for either one. I have also noticed that the flying insects are not landing on the blue ceiling. It has really cut down on the black spots you normally see in the warmer months.
